Unfortunately no, if the initial invite isn't successful and has been over a week since you applied. You can message support asking for an invite, in most cases they will accept you but if not they will let you know why.

Am I the only one that hated animated banners :D As well as being distracting, they require quite a lot of data to download slowing down how fast you can load new Youtube pages.
