I was tempted to make a sort of compilation video but not really sure that it would work with my content. I think it would be interesting to make a compilation on failed recordings, got a lot of those :D

Maybe there aren't enough views to get the statistics yet? Is this for a new video with low views?

If you get a large number of subs you should also be getting views going along with that. Will take a while for the analytics to come though to check where the views are coming from though.

Are any of your videos listed at the top pages of search? It can be quite hard to get tags up there. So a 1 next to the tag means that if you write that tag in YouTube search it will be the first video to come up (lower numbers = better).

I just let YouTube do it's thing and have everything default, if people like my channel they can sit thought the ad :D I have also heard the same as Nolan that YouTube is more likely to showcase videos in the sidebar that make them money. Which I guess would make sense....

Shares are a lot harder to get than likes, so if 2000 shared the video then it's got to be something special. Although if the video somehow got 2000 shares and not 2000 likes there must be something pretty bad about it :D I still haven't reached a total of 1000 shares (955 at the moment) but...

The most important thing for search is your video title, it over weighs both the tags and description by quite a lot. That being said don't try to make it too long. Using tags like "epic" will probably do nothing at all, many other people will also use that tag however lowering how effective it...

Forums/reddit/social media is the best way to get your content out there. This probably doesn't work for lets plays though, it has to be a tutorial or build that you can share with others. Another way is creating searchable content, only thing is you need to be the first to create it otherwise...

Sometimes dis-likes can help get more views... but as Nolan said if it starts getting people to hate on the rest of your channel it could be a problem
