It usually over estimates but I have heard of it doing under before as well. Not sure of the reason why it would under estimate though, possibly there are trailing a new method...

Doesn't really sounds like view botting that would probably be a lot more than 1000 views. Just sounds like one of your videos became popular :)

Also nothing wrong with that :) If you are doing YouTube because you enjoy it rather than trying to get as many views as possible doesn't mean that you are a bad YouTuber :D

If you click on the "Credits" at the top right it will show a list of the top 20 and top earned today :)

Information/tutorial channels are still doing pretty well and they aren't usually as annoying as the others

Usually YouTube places all the sub4sub comments in the spam filter so I haven't really seen any for a while, if I do see them I just ignore them anyway. I'm sure at some stage they will probably work out that the 100 subs they just got will never watch any of there content.

The original Star Wars movies are hard to beat, also enjoyed the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Been a while since I have seen a movie that I'd want to re watch again...

Not sure if this thread was created to advertise a blog but anyway... Really shouldn't be that expensive if everyone is bringing something. Just get everyone to bring stuff to share (pretty much the amount of food/drink that they would eat)

Remember that there is a 2 month delay on payments so you will be payed for the month that you earned 2 months ago. Can you take a screen shot of your analytics page showing your views?

Hmm I guess because it went though gravatar and not uploading the Avatar. You are supposed to earn 5 for uploading one and -5 if you remove it.

I'm guessing the type of content you create is quite unique, if someone wants to find information your videos will be the first to come up. Being the first in the area to create content I think is one of the best ways to grow, at the moment there are a lot people that watch their favorite...

Think it took me around 2 months to get to 50 subs, then another month to get to 100 subs. Over a year to get to 1000 subs, after my 1000 sub special video I gained another 1000+ subs after a couple of weeks :)

Nice work @ClemMedia great idea to do an AMA, I'm sure a lot of people are curious :) Would you say there was a tipping point where you started growing a lot more, or has there been a continuous growth over various videos?

I wouldn't know... I'd say gaining subs should become easier the more subs and views you gain. If I had continued my channel I probably should have gotten their already. You mainly want to get some videos with large views (over 50k ideally) these are the videos that will show up in search...
