It sounds like you can still view youtube as normal (if you are happy with watching ads). However if you don't want to watch ads you can pay $10 and you can watch as many videos and channels as you like ad free. This will actually generate a lot more money for youtube if people actually sign up...

I've seen people use this as a way to promote their channel when they post on other channels. This can be a way to get views but also quite a lot of people don't like channels that do this.

In future try to only post here once you reach the milestone. Looks like you already have though so congrats! Maybe try to do something for your subscribers, ask what they would like. Also you could do a montage of your best moments or something like that?

Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes its hard to realise the number is actual people. If I go to a lecture and there are over 100 people listening that seems like a lot. Weird to then to think that 8000 times that have watched my content.

Sometimes I get that watching other videos but its just from youtube not the video itself. Does it do that in other browsers too?
