Sorry to hear about that with your subnetwork, hopefully you can find a better one. This thread shows how to switch between subnetworks. You may have just missed the date to transfer though, I think it's usually done at the end of the moment...

Not sure about subscribers but this is definitely true for at least views. Youtube doesn't rank videos highly unless they already have lots of views and interactions (comments likes and shares). So pretty much Youtube makes it really hard for smaller channels to get noticed.

You shouldn't need to unlink your adsense account, where has it told you to do this? Unless this is something that has recenty been changed that I don't know about.

Yes definitely remove any copyrighted material as soon as possible. If you do upload copyrighted content, youtube may not pay you for the month and also can disable monetisation for your whole channel.
