May earnings aren't out yet, they should be out sometime soon. For up to date estimated earning you can always check your youtube analytics

I think my first videos video I clicked the like button :D Although I have my video likes public now and they also show up on twitter, so it would look a little odd if it did it now...

Not the learn more button, there should have been a pop up request on your Youtube to accept the YPP. People who haven't accepted that get their monetisation turned off by youtube and kicked from the network.

Youtube can tell when you are watching a video multiple times and usually don't show ads. Also as the others have said there isn't always an ad available every time.
