Yes this is normal. Every time you join a new CMS your revenue will be reset to 0 as YouTube can not show you the earnings from a different CMS. You will still get paid what you had earned before joining freedom via Adsense.

Also what is your internet upload speed? A 10GB file on my home internet will take me around 18 hours, however using my phone, it takes about 25 minutes. So the ultimate upgrade, is to get better internet :P

You currently don't. It is a feature being tested by YouTube and so only the very large channels currently have access to it. No ETA on its availability to others. Most likely will come with the new YouTube layout later this year.
