    Need help

Almost any microphone will work well as long as you optimize the audio properly. The best capture card is the Elgato HD. I've never used one, but it is definitely the most praised.

VLOG Looking for opinions - The new outro for my vlogs

ALSO - The Sony Vegas template I made for it look like this. Your input has been noted and the music has been toned down.

    Looking into Cameras

I personally use the Canon Powershot SX60 bridge camera for my recordings. It's cheaper than a DSLR and works magnificently. 16.1 megapixels. 65x optical zoom (a gimmick more than anything) 1080p60 capabilities Hot shoe for external mount. Microphone input for external mics that hook to said...

VLOG Looking for opinions - The new outro for my vlogs

This is the first rendition of the end slate template I made for my upcoming daily vlogs, however, I am looking to get community feedback on the quality of the product before it launches with the first vlog on Tuesday.

    On desperation

How ironic that this shows up here.

    On desperation

That is very good on your part. I see far too many people trying to jump into YouTube with absolutely no idea what they're actually doing. Kudos to you for thinking through what you're going to do and how.

what I can do to my channel

Agreed. Since you're doing vlogs, my recommendation would be to take a specific frame from the video that looks really good, and spice it up for use as a thumbnail. OR A thumbnail that effectively describes the content of the video without too much fluff.

    Reddit

I would not recommend posting on Reddit unless your market is YouTubers. The place is teeming with "subbed, check me out" users who will inflate your subscriber number past many means.

What makes you dislike a YouTuber?

Assume they were your only view for that day, your watch time would probably also be 2 seconds. Those people don't care about your content and will not return to your channel to view the next video. The same goes for Sub4Sub channels or other similar methods of 'gaining' viewership.

What makes you dislike a YouTuber?

People that use memes to try to be funny are the worst.

One Last Video, What Would It Be?

A three second loop of me saying "Bye".

What makes you unique on YouTube?

I take my inspiration from the three YouTubers I mentioned in another thread, and embody the trio into one person.

    What Are The Requirements?

There are no real substance requirements for your channel to join. You don't need to do any branding or perform any deviation from your regular content. Although we do provide some sweet music you can use in your videos, which you don't need to give specific credit for since you would have the...

Should I make my videos all private and start fresh again?

The history of your channel is the ultimate way of gauging how you've improved. I'd keep it there and keep working at whatever you go on to produce.

    Regarding Feedback

The only way to give appropriate feedback is to give feedback that is detailed in nature, meant to give the person you're reviewing a real idea of what your thought train on the specific topic is. Bad example: "Your audio is bad". Good example: "It would appear that there is an issue with the...

    Comments The partner badge

The link to apply for a partner badge in the rules page is broken. It might help to get that fixed.

Why would you subscribe to a YouTube channel?

I click the subscribe button on channels that I know for fact I'll return to again. If I happen to find a good channel, I do factor in size as a community already established would be more fulfilling to take part in than a smaller channel with one or two guys that maybe comment once in a while.
