So I just moved and with all my spare time as of late, I decided that I want to take my YT game to the next level and because of the move I had the opportunity to create my own 'Creator Space' for my channel!

So that made me kinda curious what is your 'Creator space' ? Do you film in the same location mostly like me, or do you move around allot with your gear or are you even roughing it gear-less?

Well anyhow I thought I should start off with my new space! (LOL I need somewhere to brag :p(facepalm))

Jealous! My creator space is in my craft room, which is my basement with one tiny window. It's hard to get good lighting and a good spot to record. I used to spend nearly an hour just setting up to record. Now I've got my "spot" pretty much set, but it's not ideal.

I'll be moving my craft room probably in the next year sometime, though, to an upstairs room which has two windows (yay, natural lighting!) So I'm excited for that : )

Currently I film in my dining room because it has a big window and great natural lighting, but then I edit up in my mini office space in my bedroom. However, I have plans to build kind of like a filming studio in the basement. I will have to invest in some good lights when that happens though.

Wow an hour that is a long time to set up! In my first year of making video's I would sit in front of the window for natural lighting also! But as soon as it got cloudy it had no use making any video's because it was to dark inside to make a good makeup video :(. (It's get cloudy allot in my country) So that resulted in me only making vids mainly in summer in the beginning (facepalm).

A whole video-studio sounds so good! You could even upgrade the whole room with foam for perfect audio quality & maybe even a green screen!! (Look at Julien Solomita's vlogs you can see his whole house is video proofed ) Ps. good lighting doesn't have to be expensive! My softbox on the foto is actually a very old second hand drawing table with 2 fluorescent light fixtures that really get's the job done for any basic video setting! :D

Yeah I like the idea of sound proofing. And totally wouldn't spend much on lighting haha. I would probably have to head to the junk yard or thrift stores to find something that would at least work. I can't afford expensive lights anyways haha.
