I'm using an Elgato as well but for my PS4. The elgato is a great piece of equipment for recording. I recommend it.

A Elgato would be great but there is also a HD Pvr 2 gaming edition but its near the same price as elgato

XBOX Should have a built in recording system depending on its version.

I use an Avermedia game capture hd 2 with a 1tb external hard drive. I have a xbox 360 turtle beach x12 with a custom xbox one splitter. I record my audio and party chat onto the pc while game footage is recorded to the hard drive.

I believe it might be a little more than $100 but get an elgato best thing in my opinion on the market for capture on Xbox
