Hello, my name is Alexis also know as the owner of the YouTube channel, AlexPlaysGames. I am 18 years old and I am a college student who is majoring computer science. I was always fascinated by technology and the world wide web. It always had me intrigued, happy, made me laugh and sometimes even frustrated me. Being the first child of my family it was always hard for me to go out and try new things by myself, but I was always up for it. I was athletic and a straight a/b student. It was the life my parents always wanted me to follow. However, that changed the day I bought my first console. My dad gave me a PS2 for my 12th birthday and I was on it 24/7. I was still athletic and a great student but I loved spending time on my video games. Time passed and my life was never drastically changed until about 4 years ago when I got a Xbox 360 and I could actually play ONLINE and meet people who enjoy the same games as me! I met so many new friends and had so much fun. However this console did shift my life. High school was never a great place for me. Sure I had a couple friends here and there but I don't think I can say I made many unforgetable memories there. But I don't regret nothing that I did during the four years I was in High school. I met great friends online that I still talk to today, I expanded my horizons on the world wide web and I created my YouTube channel. I created my channel back in 2013 and got it all the way up to 320 subscribers back in the spring of 2015. I enjoyed making videos with my friends. Gaming had always been apart of me but when I moved out to college I thought I could get away from all that YouTube and gaming stuff. But I couldn't I still found my self playing video games! So after a year off of youtube I decided to restart my gaming channel with a better effort and hopefully one day make YouTube and gaming a base factor of my life.
