Will this processor work?

I'm trying to upgrade my processor and I was wondering if this processor will work with the motherboard I have right now.

That's an AMD board, the I7 won't work. I've no idea what the equivalent is though sorry

The AMD FX-8320 might be something your looking for (Link above). I did see the AMD FX-8350, that's the overclocking equivalent. Which considering the motherboard you have, you won't see "that" much of a performance increase to justify the extra $20. For $20 you could spend it on some nice Noctua or Corsair performance fans. If you're wanting that motherboard you'll need a CPU compatible with AM3+ I'd reccomend:

Overall, I would recommend buying a new motherboard as in personal preference, I would choose Intel over an AMD Processor. I'm not American and not exactly sure about pricing. I hope these were around your price brackets

@WesleyTheSkater Noctua and Corsair have some pretty quiet fans options as well I run 9 Corsair fans on my pc and it's probably quieter than most laptops. That aside, just keep in mind the amount of watts an AMD processor has. The more watts, the hotter that processor will run, and therefore the louder the fans will run. Officially it's called TDP: Thermal Design Power, the maximum amount of heat that component is expected to output in a realistic but heavy user scenario.

AM socket types are for AMD. I can however tell you that the bulldozer processor for the AM3+ socket is really good. Not overclocking I get a speed of 3.86 ghz with mine and its about 2 years old. I also like it because it runs VERY cool. It sits at only 20C with just fan cooling and a larger case.
