FRAPS is a load of **** and I don't know anyone who has ever used it.
If your really having a hard time record with NVIDA Shadowplay then set it to "Desktop Record" mode and see how that works out for you.
If not, then use OBS.
I use Shadowplay and Dxtory.
Lol you know lots of people who use Fraps here on the forum... lol...
Sorry to the original poster...
I don't use dxtory
I use Fraps, Shadowplay, and xsplit
Have you tried pressing ctrl+alt+delete and bringing up the task manager to see if you are maxing out your system resources...
Recording does tend to eat system resources.
You may have some junk ware or whatever running in the background or whatever. I always recommend a program called Super Anti Spyware for cleaning everything from viruses to Spyware. .. it's free to use...
Another thing to make sure you are not recording on the same hard drive that is running Windows or the game. .. cause that can cause problems too
