SO I uploaded a snippet of a reveal trailer for DLC 5 for COD Black ops 3, keep in mind TONSSSS of people are uploading this same video and not getting a copyright claim. Should I dispute this and say its within fair use and other youtubers are monetizing this trailer
for Example

If you just reuploaded the trailer I wouldn't dispute it as that's far from Fair Use and just deal with it. You can't tell whether a video by someone else was claimed or not without access to the channel. If it isn't your content, don't dispute claims.

but other people are monetizing it
It's not them monetizing it, it could also be the rights holder monetizing it through the claim which is the case more often than not. You see the same ads, though the uploader sees the same thing as you do. "Monetization: You can't monetize this video" and "Ads may appear on your video". They earn nothing off of these ads though the claimant does.

As mentioned by LW001 just because other people are doing it, and maybe getting away with monetising the video, this doesn't mean you have a right to do it. It could be that they have had the video claimed by the rights holder and they are allowing them to have ads on the videos / the rights to use the content. Especially if you have just taken a snippet of the video and not done anything with it, it would be very difficult to claim fair use on this and successfully appeal the claim - you could certainly try if your feeling lucky, but personally I wouldn't recommend it.

I just deleted the video but no other youtubers are monetizing it. Its the same with the call of duty WW2 Reveal trailer. Big youtubers get to make money off it

Well again, they may have gotten an agreement to post the video on their channel. If you say no other youtubers are monetising it, then again this could have been agreed prior you never know - still the point remains that even if other people are uploading things it doesn't automatically give you the right to do it
