Which Headset To Buy?

i am currently using my x32 turtle beach headset for recording, i record PC games and this is an Xbox headset, the results are not the best. so recently I've come to the realization that the quality of my videos is piss poor because of the audio.

I have been looking around for a while and just cannot find the perfect headset for me. my main problem is that i have a gaming laptop (msi GE60) for those of you who don't know it produces allot of background noise this means i need a good headset not mic, (as i normally record on my bed) that i can produce very good quality content and cut out the background noise that my computer fan makes.

I have been looking around for months now and as i'm not the best when it comes to audio i really need some help from people who know a thing or two about recording for youtube.

If you want good audio quality, you should buy an external microphone. I highly recommend the Blue Snowball. As for headphones, I'd probably get some prosumer headphones like the Audio Technica M50x

Personally I prefer the products from sentey. Their ThorX headphones are the best in my opinion and their headsets are very good quality as well

I use simple Skull candy headphones. I have the Turtle beach x32 but I haven't use them almost a year.
