You should be focusing on subscribers. Focus on getting more views. There's no point having 100 subs and only 1 view per video. It's much better to have 10 subscribers and 100 views. I would aim for a 5:1 ratio. 1 subscriber for every 5 views.

Yes, i know reddit is a massive promotional method, but you have not to act as spammer here. It's easy to be shadowized.
On June 7th of this year I saw this Seanelliottoc guy go from 0 views to just under 200k subs in a single day.
