Solved Someone is using my intro.

So first let me start by saying this my intro was a Template but when I downloaded it I changed the font and also got rid of some flares and jumps. Now recently I found another channel named the same thing as mine and I noticed he stole my Intro I know he stole it because its the same thing as mine and my intro video was posted 3 months before he posted it. I wanted to get the videos where he used my intro removed so I went to claim copy right but apparently doing so is a really big deal and if its false my channel can be terminated so I just want to make sure that if I claim this video is a valid claim.

Unfortunately you cannot claim copyright since you do not own the rights to the intro. Also just to be on the safe side I wouldn't recommend getting into copyright to much as you might get your channel taken down because of a silly mistake and that means you might loose all of your hard work. So if you do own the rights (which if it was a template you don't) you might want to see and make sure he didn't change anything including the name. Then you could report him. If he is using the same name then he might be copying you. But if he just changed the name then it might not be. It might be a simple coincidence. Remember if it was a template than he might have downloaded it.
