I want to entertain people because it's one of the few things I can do. In real life, I can't even go out and I'm a recluse. Aside from a ton of problems, YouTube and writing is all I do.

My goal is to build a community. I just wanna make people happy. Soon I will it 500 subs, then hopefully 1K.

I try to enrich other people's lives, because I felt mine was empty.

I want to have a fanbase on YouTube. People I can interact with and make happy. I want to see people happy. I want to laugh and share their joy. The world is a big place, full of wonder, mystery and secrets. We need to make the best of the time we have hear, making and enriching others lives as much as we can. I strive to do that. To make videos to just take five minutes out of someone's day and say, ''Hey, it's alright. Let's play and smile together. Just for five minutes, alright? Let's put the world behind us, our problems, our lives. Let's just make everything a bit better.''

All I want is to give content to people that they will enjoy, and feel like I did something meaningful.

We live life by looking down a dark ally, afraid of the shadows and the whsipers within. We can look to the bight, golden light at the end, but be afraid of going for it. We may never reach the light - the goal - we have wanted. But it's the first step that counts. Do that, then take the next. Embrace what you fear, and do what you can, even if you have to crawl and take it slow to get there. It isn't the length of the walk that matters, but the experience in doing so. As we face our problems, our anxieties, our fears, we grow. It doesn't matter how bight or how dim that light we seek is. What matters is we don't let it go out. Because if we do, we will be surrounded by shadows.

Personally, if anything, just to know my content is good enough for people to watch is good enough for me.

This is kinda a funny question for me, that I only sort of know the answers...
I actually have many reasons for doing this... here are some reasons...

1. I expect to die one day... making videos will be a way that part of me can live on forever.
2. I love making videos because I always wanted to but never had the opportunity, because there was no youtube when I was a kid and I didnt do well with real life auditions.
3. I love video games cause I was raised by them...
4. Two of my daughters are autistic and I hope to be able to create some kinda of passive revenue stream to help them later in life when I'm not around.
5. Youtube helps me to show people my interests and what I'm like, because I'm an Introvert, not many people ever actually get to know me in real life. Most people are really surprised when they find out I do this...

I'm one of those mysterious people that alot of people know of, but no one really knows... if that makes sense...
I actually feel the same way in some regards. I too feel that I want to leave something behind that can maybe live on past my death. I just look at myself and know that I have so many great ideas and philosophies and I never really shared them with anyone before and so I started thinking that it was such a waste. I mean I shared them with my friends and family but that was it and it has helped them greatly. However, there are millions upon millions that never really hear the type of stuff that they should be hearing and if I can fill in that gap at least a little, I can die satisfied. I look at the works of historical and ancient philosophers like Aristotle and Plato and I'm so inspired to be able to do even 1% of what they have done for the countless generations that came after them. They left behind their ideas in written form and to this day society is better for it. Of course there have been many great activists, leaders, revolutionaries, speakers, artists and tons others that have provided for humanity in this same way as well. I want to leave behind something like they have even if it's just 1% of something like it. I have a long ways to go. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a pianist by trade and honestly, at first, I was trying to get rid of my stage fright and stop doubting myself on what kind of musician I am. Now, I just doing it to prove to myself and others that I got what it takes as a musician (and an amateur singer/songwriter and composer) and my progress will show. Weird, I know.

not in it for a quick rich scheme or anything like that, if i earn something great but that wouldnt happen for ages anyway
needed something to do to pass the time, and if people enjoy my videos, then i have a fanbase that want me to do more
regardless if you have 10 subs or 1k people click on the videos so somebody likes your content

Yeah big things like that open up our eyes. I've been there before as well in fact some of my recent life changes pushed me more than ever to realize how incredibly short life is. We can't waste it wondering what if or doubting ourselves. Good luck.

Well when I first started 4 years ago I just wanted to make it in to youtube fame. Now 4 years later, my views have changed. Making it big on YouTube is a driving force still it has become background noise, I'm doing it now to have fun, share my stories, my thoughts and ideas. Over the 4 years I have come to like being creative, and working on cool interesting things hopefully other people will enjoy. Other driving factor is I want to connect to people with my videos.

I've been making videos for a while now, and I really enjoy recording them, editing them, and getting feedback. YouTube has actually turned my life much more fun and gives me something to look forward to when I wake up :)

Cool yeah there's nothing wrong with seeking out fame on Youtube, it's personally not my goal but I don't judge people that want that or have wanted that in the past. I think too many people treat it like a dirty word or something :) I say as long as it makes you happy, you're making others happy and not hurting anyone then who cares what you do with your free time. Well good luck to you.

Yes I feel the same, it feels great to be involved with something creative and so gratifying as YouTube that has the potential to always be giving something good back to us even if it's just one cool comment.
