Hello, I have a few questions about being in a network that I wasn't able to find out on the FAQ's.

Is it possible to earn revenue by uploading covers of copyrighted songs? Will Freedom cover any copyright costs or anything like that?

Also, is it possible to be able to upload these types of videos but be able to demonitize them?

Thank you to anyone who answers my questions.

All of those questions are a bit difficult, and I shall refer it to support just to get some clarification on it. But from what I have been reading to upload a cover of a song, the best way to do this is contact the owner / publisher of the music and ask for a synch license. This will allow you to recreate, publish and repost copies of their work without risking getting any copyright strikes

While there maybe some costs involved for this, Freedom would not pay for any of this as it is your choice and decision to do it. Also again from what I can see you would be able to upload these types of videos and disable monetisation on then, though some owners do allow you to earn revenue on it but have a partial share with you.

There is also some information about this in the links below
