Solved Position Music Copyright Claim

I am partnered with Freedom I just don't have that shiny purple badge on the forums.

So I've just uploaded a video and I've been waiting a few good hours for the copyright claim to disappear. How long does it usually take for position music/Freedom to remove it? I've already email Position Music about it. Just waiting for a reply.

After this has been resolved I think I'll stick to loyalty free music to avoid this happening again.

Hey

They should automatically release in most cases within 15 minutes. If it doesn't auto-release then just email the URL of the video to [email protected] and let them know you are a Freedom partner and they will release it for you.

I've emailed them a few hours ago. Haven't heard anything since. Kinda sucks it don't release it within 15 minutes. I guess I'll just use loyalty free music next time so I don't have to wait hours to make the video public. It's only for my outro anyway lol

I wouldn't dismiss them just yet it will most probably be a one off and next time get released straight away but I know what you mean it can be frustrating.

Only one way to find out lmao. I'm uploading my video again with different outro music. If the first video gets the copyright released then I'll use that one.

That's what I really don't like at all with Position Music, Everything get's sorted out... EVENTUALLY!

However I don't want to go through all that trouble! Contacting etc.

It's just not worth it in my eyes! Sorry! But they really need to fix this.

I've been waiting 2 hours to get this video uploaded. The music is a big part of the "ambiance" if this vid. Don't think I'll be using position again

Don't to sound rude but Position has this trouble too often. You have to contact them and notify your from Freedom and they release the strike but to go trough that process every video? Like @Brent Cone said actually. One of the main reasons i don't use it.
