I do some things left handed like sports... but i write with my right hand...
I guess thats ambidexterous...
writing left handed is awkward, as any lefty would attest to... book spines and ink or pencil on your hand all the time...

Ambidexterity means to be able to do things as effectively with one side as the other.
Well i can use either hand... its just you tend to gain a preference... especially using things... cause alot of things are made for right hand people...
But when it comes to a sport like baseball, hockey, or golf where they have both handed clubs... i use left usually... but keep both on hand...
I found over experience thati gain more accuracy with a right hand stance, but considerably more power in a left...
So i wouldent say theyre the same for me... but i can use them both effectively...
I can only do right effectively. At work I combat this by using my left hand more often at times. But, it will never surpass my dominant right side.
I'm left-handed and I'll agree with that. Because of that, I've adapted to writing sideways, which everyone thinks is weird.

My father always taught me how to be a right hand writer. But I grew up being a left hand fighter. It's funny because now people stare at me funny when I stance Southpaw in a fight, I ended up coining the phrase "I'm a right-hand writer, but a left hand fighter."
I notice an unusually high amount of people answering "ambidextrous". It is highly unlikely that any of those who replied ambidextrous actually are, since to be truly ambidextrous means to do everything with the left just as effectively as they right. Not one thing with the left or another with the right, everything.

Right handed. Though I'm becoming more and more ambidextrous by the week when I go bowling. My left hand beat my right hand in a series for the first time ever about a month ago and just 2 weeks ago my left hand had it's first 200 game.
It was and in some places still is a religious thing. I know that's why the wedding ring does on the left hand, but other than that I'm not entirely knowledgeable as to why there is that stigma surrounding the left.
