Hello everyone!
I'm Marta from the channel Marta e Yuu in which we do videos about Japan in spanish.
My question is about copyright.
I took a video in a theme park in Japan, which is a "Harry Potter world", and in some parts, as backgroung sound, you can clearly hear Harry Potter music. Then, can I use this video? Because technically I am not using the music but, still I am not sure...
Please if you know, tell me :D
In the case I should not use it, would be ok if I don't monetize it?

Thanks for reading!!

Hi @Marta e Yuu :)

In terms of using the footage it should be ok. However you can not monetize it as it is using music that you do not own the copyright for. (this was taken from YouTube's own rules)

The respective owners of the music may claim your video in which there will be nothing you can do.

Hope this clears things up :)

I really wanted to make the video eventhough I could not monetize it.
So thank you very much!!
I am new at Youtube, that's why there are some rules I still don't understand clearly

Again, thank very much!! :D

You can always mute the part with the music! You can always add your own uncopyrighted music if you would want too! ;) Then you can Monetize it! :D
