ok. i seen this video been posted. i hope you guy do look in to video and not jump to gun. this can be great tool for user them self. but i dont recommend going by this to take down channel in any way. take look at channel before doing so. now for my self. i am going use that website as a tool to make my self look better. i going take my 7% and try get down to 1%. do not attack my channel for try do right thing.

p.s. what video did not say is what is the safe level on this tool?

Update... I figured it out...
Freedom released a new website called spam indicator at www.spam.tm
And it ranks channels on how 'spammy' they are... I got 4%... lol... not sure why... but yeah...

It says no links to social networking sites 74% .... that should not be considered spammy... that's like the opposite or spam...

I got 7%, I do have twitter and G+ linked on my page so not sure why it's complaining about no links to social networking If I didn't put downloads to my creations people would complain so I can't change that

lol. short link are just trap. as far what i care, people who use them may as well be troll or scammer! i am sure there rule on that. that is not the reason at all when coming to facebook link or other social. :3

I have a feeling this is more a tool for Freedom to weed out spammy channels from the network. I don't think these values actually affect your channel at all, in terms of how youtube would rank them. Although if your % is very high there may be a chance your channel gets terminated/kicked out of the network....

I guess my channel is considered spam, because I rarely get any comments and my subscriber vs videos ratio are way to a part. =/ But I like uploading 5 or more videos a day. I upload videos when I finish recording them.

i think if we all gone by that. about 75% of youtube are just spammer. i dont think youtube really look in to that. if they did, they lose everyone.

Skipping over some reading, freedom specifically talked about adfly and simmilar links that have paid ads intersection before redirecting to the actuall link. Youtube is against those short links, google link shortner and others non spammy ones are usually fine with youtube.

Personally, I don't view it as a tool to improve things. Just because it says 3%, 5%, or 8% doesn't mean there is actually anything wrong with your channel.

Such as it says I have spammy descriptions. However, I do not, I just have long descriptions. Summary, social links, game info, and featured video.

That is considered a good description.

My point is, trying to get your score as low as possible doesn't necessarily mean you are making improvements. In fact, you could be doing the opposite.

Another example is videos longer than 40 minutes. Some channels just benefit from long videos, it all depends on the audience they are trying to cater too. A channel could be full of 40 minute videos, and that isn't a bad thing.

Be careful how you use this tool and don't expect every score to mean you are doing something wrong.

No Links to social networking sites: 45.30% (Not sure why this is. I at least have a twitter linked)
No comments on videos: 24% (Some of my earlier videos never got comments on them.)
Videos Constantly Longer than 40 minutes: 18.13% (I play a lot of JRPG's so naturally I try to keep the lengths long)
Videos have the same view counts: 10.76% (I don't exactly get 100s of views every video so this makes sense)
Spammy Video Descriptions: 1.81% (No idea why)
Everything else: 0%
