Hello there guys! My name is Patrick. Just wanted to ask for some advice, so I've been on YouTube for about a year now. and My channel has went through i guess, a bit of success with one of my videos getting around 10,000+ views and currently sitting at 82 Subs. When i originally began my YouTube i was active for about Two weeks and then school started and of course like any other student i was so busy with work that i couldn't give my YouTube as much time as i should. From there i posted maybe a few times when i had free time. So the thing I've been thinking about is should i restart my YouTube Channel? I feel like I've disappointed people whom subscribed because i couldn't post on a daily basis as well as for me it feels like my channel is disorganized and has no goals or target audience, along with that are the big gaps between my videos spanning to about 2-3 months.

So what do you guys think i should do?

Thanks in advance and have a good day.

I'm in a similar position my channel was also doing great during New Years and I was flying high on the feeling (200 subs in 2 weeks *_*) ... then school caught up with me and ruined everything... I still tried to post every now and then but my last video has been almost over a month ago and before I used to post +- 2/3 times a week and was also getting some interaction for people who were getting more active on my channel.

I wanna start again after next week and I'm just going to keep my channel and try to get me a schedule to get back at it again and just start from there because I did build a little community that although not active now, can be in my opinion.

I don't think so.
Life happens, and people will understand that. I think if you want, not necessary, is just let them know that something's come up and you'll be taking a bit of a break trying to figure things out.
I did that recently. Took a week long break to work on some YouTube stuff, and everyone understood and was very supportive of me. Before that, I took a 6 month long break, and when I came back, I was even stronger than ever. :)

Don't delete all your hard work! It's evidence that you put time and effort into it.

I have exams it's my final year this year and something I do is binge record on a weekend.

Basically during the weekend attempt to record and edit 7 videos(1 per day) this allows you to be filly engaged during the week with school and allowing you to still seem to be active on your channel

I feel like it shouldn't matter if you make a new channel or not. People come and go all the time, having some dead subs won't do any harm to you. Personally, it depends if you don't mind knowing that there are inactive people on your channel. It's nice to have old videos to look back on.
