Hello Guys,

I've recently joined Freedom! and, well, I'm quite lost, to be honest. I don't know where and how I should promote my channel (it's in portuguese!). I've seen the videos of George and I belive using the forum is a right way to help people and be helped.

That being said, and since my channel is in portuguese, what should I do?

Thank you all.

Post your channel or video here.
https://freedom.community.tm/forums/collaborate.35/

But of course do not expect to get it any feedbacks. Most of the people who post stuff here on the forums are selfish.
They only post stuff to advertise their own stuff, but never actually check outs other peoples stuff. Even if they do checked
it out. Its mainly for the purpose of their hidden agenda, like making you check their stuff as well.

Oh, sad to hear that. I've decided to come to Freedom! because I heard it had a strong community.

In the first year I would say we do have a good community. But after that, every thing is going down hill in my opinion.
A lot of good people left the community because it was it used to be. Freedom has grown so much, that they only care about
quantity and not quality. A lot of good people left Freedom already, and after 2+ years here I'm about to leave as well.
But since you are starting out, give it a shot and stick around for a bit. You might find good friends here, but do not
get your hopes up expecting you will get help grow your channel.

What would you recommend then?

We have a pretty strong community of people that are going to help you grow your channel, but not by watching and subscribing, that's not going to happen.
We have a okay-sized group of active members that will likely answer your inquiries about YouTube and how to grow on it, but again, will not watch your channel.

Everybody want to have a YouTube career, that's why there is tons of competition.

I've grown 74 subscribers and have loads of views for a channel that's only a little over 2 weeks old.
I LOVE my subscribers, fanbase, friends that watch and comment on my stuff.

It's just all about the work you put in, don't take ANYTHING for granted and show them you are there for THEM and not because you want to earn thousands of dollars / euro's. It may be a motive, but it shouldn't be your primairy one :)
