Solved Low CPM / Youtube Earnings

Hello i have problems concerning my CPM right now its currently low at 0.81 Playback based CPM and 0.61 CPM. Ive had around 50k views in the past week. My channel is FanFreeze and i have almost 6000 subscribers may i know why my CPM is so low and how i could fix it?

CPM is based on a lot of factors, like the country you live in, the country the video is being shown,tags on your channel etc. One advise i took note of in the planned revamp of my channel is it should be advertiser friendly, that's why unboxing videos for smartphones are getting those ads becuase they are watched people who want to spend money on phones...

Hey there,

You have noticed that your CPM is quite low and are wondering if it is possible to raise this for your channel.

As @RonaldWallace pointed out, your CPM depents on a lot of factors. The country you live in, time of the year, in which country your video is being displayed the most and the contents of your video. Due to a lot of these factors its generally very hard, if not impossible, to raise your own CPM.

A tip, at the end of the year (20th of december - 1st of January) CPM's are generally quite high, so uploading more videos in that period can be really good!
