I have received an offer from an external company to purchase a licensing right to one of my videos in order to air it on TV. I was told that it would not affect the monetization of the primary copy of the video on my channel, Freedom would still be monetizing it, and that the only time they would step in with anything to do with youtube would be if somebody uploads the video in full outside of fair use they would insure that the revenue generated goes to me. Is there any issue with terms of use crossing over? The video has already been aired on TV and they are willing to retroactively bill the show for the use, so if it's all good with Freedom, I'd like to go for it.

Sounds like it should be fine if they are keeping the youtube monetization side for yourself. If you want to be sure you could try contact support
