is there rule about patreon i need know about?

it seem like youtube red is hurting lot of people this month and i want know if patreon is a good idea and if there any rule on this that may hurt my freedom? if patreon is any problem to old way, i not going to try it. let me know what can and cant and if this a problem in any way?

You are completely fine to have a Patreon or other personal donation pages alongside your Youtube channel while with Freedom I know some people have found that Patreon has helped them a lot, but for smaller channels its very difficult to get people to fund them.

Just note that you aren't allowed to promote these donation pages in the Freedom forums (asking for donations here isn't allowed).

I'd also like to point out that Youtube Red is not 'hurting' anyone. Google is still paying out creators for Red watchtime despite the free trial. Please don't leap to conclusions without researching them a little first.

i know that. but it is very low this month for youtube red. only 2 reason i can think of, very little support or all that free tryout.
