Instagram for gaming channels

Hey everyone!

I've been seeing some people suggesting that people use Instagram to grow your channel but I don't understand how that would help. Unless it changed Instagram is for pictures and 15 seconds videos right? I post 20-30 minutes videos so I'm not sure how it would help. If anyone could suggest ways that Instagram would help that'd be great!

I make use of it to and if you share screenshos with a link to the video and make use if proper tags just like twitter then it could indeed help.
I make use of Insta too and have experienced growth from it.

Twilight how can it help though? I noticed that links don't work in the descriptions at all. Do you know a way to allow users to click a hyperlink within your description?

Links work in bio so you could always put your channel link in there? And say link in bio on the actual post. That's what I've seen a lot of people do

I need to start one myself, but any media you use to help grow your brand and get your name out there is important.

I advertise my stuff on my IG sometimes. I post the thumbnails of my videos. The only thing i wish was possible is that they could make a clickable link below the photo for your videos or channel so people could check it out. I mean twitter allows you to share links, why cant Instagram? Same with vine!
