Overall balanced opinions. 50% - 50%. Keep them coming.

I think you are overlooking becoming a gamer or making videos. You still have to think about space on Earth. If nobody dies, we will be overrun.

you readed the question wrong. every can take it but it doesn't mean everyone is gonna take it. and I get the choice. and because the goverment don't wanna have a overun. they won't just give it to everyone. only to important people. but I have the choice then XD

In that regard, thinking that obviously everyone has different opinions and they don't have to, would change the possibility of being overrun. There is a complicated story I was going to post about there would still be possible to overrun but I will spare the time.

honestly I think the goverment won't let a overun happen. but that's something we can discuss about forever and still don't come to a disscision who's right.

There is no right if all that is said are opinions. This event has not happened, will it happen? Possibly not.

it's a opinion for each guy about why he's gonna take it or not. but that's it. and I don't think so. but it might be possible in the future that man kind is finally advanced enough to make it possible. but I don't think that humanity wil ever come that far.

I doubt that we will make immortality possible. I know for sure that Time Travel will not happen, for one specific reason, but I do not want to divert this topic as I want it to stay on Immortality.

I agree about time travel. and I agree that there might be a way to get immortality but I don't think that humanity wil come that far because that's soo complex. in order to have that you must have something inside your body that keeps everything in your body working and in tact without it's giving up or just get wasted or something. and also there must something come against keep growing because otherwise you wil become too old one day to do anything and it makes being immortal total a waste... and if you think about it well then you already know it takes sooo many times researching for the answer on it that humanity or wil give up or wil be instinct by then.

I wouldn't take it, let's say that you are on of the few people who can live for eternity.

Thinking about how you would suffer to lose your loved ones one by one. I would have to live with the fact that my wife and kids would pass away and sure new love comes again but it would end in a endless circle of the same thing. You gain and lose alot.
That aside, seeing how the world is going nowadays i can imagine what it would be like in the future. It would be awesome to see the development of the future in a certain time period but thinking about what that could also bring to the world then i rather hope to not be around anymore by that time.

Think everything would get very repetitive after a while, having to make new friends and losing everyone you once knew...

If everyone was given the choice of having immortality and your friends and family took it, does that slightly change your mind.

This next part is going to get dark and might be disturbing for some. If you do not want to read it. Do NOT open the spoiler box.

I have thought about this, and knowing you are going to live forever will make it repetitive and boring, but some might want to stay as see it. The way this is now sorted is everyone can have immortality, however if you ever want to disappear or "die" The only viable way would be to commit suicide. I marked commit in bold as if you were just walking across the street and a car accidentally hit you, you won't die as you were not trying to die. If you forcibly stand in front of an oncoming car, then you will, in question.

Even then i still won't choose the option, there is a reason that people can't become immortal. Even if my family would choose for it then i wouldn't. What is the point in gaining immortality and living a live where you decide when it ends. Sure you can see alot of the world, the good and the bad things but one thing is for sure, earth is going to crumble somewhere in the future. The sun is going to stop at a time and i know this is countless years ahead and humanity will have find a solution by then. There is much love and hate in the world and things can go for one or another and i would be happy enough to live a normal life and hopefully die with a normal cause knowing that i enjoyed it and my time has come.

Everything you say there is true. If you were given immortality, you would slowly run out of things to accomplish, and then life would be pointless. I guess living a normal life would be the best idea so that you live for the best parts and not the boring later parts.

When you know there is a limit you can set goals for yourself within the time span knowing that it could be over every day. Living life like this gives it more excitement. That aside i couldn't bare living with my family for eternity

Aha, if you have any brothers or sisters, that would be hell.. Knowing that it can be over at any time makes you want to push to do everything you can. We know that life isn't endless, we are a ticking bomb, we don't have all the time in the world to get things done.

Exactly, as for family related business i have a brother but i haven't seen him in 2 years due to personal difference. As for my parents i could care less as they were never there for me to begin with. Looking at my wife and kids is a wonderfull thing wich brings me joy but if i must live with her for eternity i don't think i could handle that XD

Sounds harsh but I know exactly what you mean, it's like the same concept for life. It would be repetitive, nothing new and will start to get boring.
