If you mean for tax purposes then yes.

You declare only what you actually receive in your paypal, not what your youtube dashboard is telling you.

Yes, but you should put in the paypal info as soon as possible, or you may not get the money when they want. Freedom is not very good for making catch up payments, and you may wait months before you get that paypal money.

LOL. seriously? I guess you could do it...but I have no idea because I haven't heard of anyone else doing it.

You can't choose. Best thing is just get things in order and recieve the money and pay taxes like everyone else to avoid trouble. You can choose to link paypal after a set amount of time but if the catch-up system is not ready then you have to wait. You still have to pay taxes afterwards there is no way to avoid that if your trying to do that

I would highly suggest receiving the money on a regular basis. It leaves a lot less room for error and anything could happen in the next 5 years.

In terms of declaring it, as mentioned above, you declare it once you receive it.
