I've been a part of the Freedom! family for a while now, I just never got around to introducing myself on these forums haha

My channel is dedicated to gaming and tech..just two of the many things in life I'm passionate about. I do a lot of Linux distribution "first impression" videos, gameplay videos for games I'm checking out, and I'm also working on getting together parts for a dedicated streaming/encoding PC for my twitch streams (www.twitch.tv/maverick_gaming90). You can bet i'll be making a video of that too!

You're more than welcome to check out my channel if you like! I'l always open to any constructive criticism anyone wants to give me. All I ask is that you keep in mind that my channel is only me. I don't have a team to help out with anything, and I don't have any professional grade equipment. Just me, my Blue Snowball, and OBS. www.youtube.com/maverickmediaproductions

I also dabble in creating Stream Overlays for hitbox and twitch. I'm still learning all of the ins and outs of photoshop, but I like to thing my work looks decent lol

I can't wait to see where this journey takes me! Here's to all of you coming a long with me :)

Welcome to the forums Terry ^^ My friend used to play games on his Linux, is there a lot less games to work with? Streaming is an extremely fun activity when you have the firepower and internet to back you up ^^ Starting off with a blue snowball is great early on, and when you get more money in the future, you should have a lot of different options to choose from. I hope your journey goes amazingly Terry, it's almost time for me to pass out, but have some fun!

Thank you very much! plan on having a lot of fun with all of this :p

And as far as gaming on linux goes, it's doable but you have to jump through a few hurdles to get some games working correctly. But that's why I run linux in a virtual machine haha

I really want to get a Yeti, but sadly that's a little out of my price range right now.

No problem at all, having fun is the best ^^ I understand the whole jumping through hurdle spots, some games I couldn't play with my friend due to the operating system, heh. A yeti is a nice upgrade, and when the time comes where you can afford it, get ready for some bonus sound quality!
