Solved Gaining Subscribers

I was wondering how do I make other channels find me and sub to me? I feel like most people just stick to people that they are subbed to and don't travel looking for other channels. How do I get people to become a member of the potatoes?
I was also wondering how do the Freedom! forums and the main website help me gain and how do I use them to my full advantage?
You don't have to answer all of these but just what you can.

People will naturally subscribe to you if they enjoy your content. The only thing you can do is make it the best you can.
However, spreading your content around can help you tremendously. Share to social networks, or show friends in person so that they might go and show others. Post a positive or helpful comment on a video, or answer someone's questions on a topic you know about. Forming a community will keep the subscribers with you, so you need to engage with them.
As for what Freedom! can do for you: The biggest factor I can see is the forums. If you need help with making thumbnails, go ask in the Requests/Offers sections (I know there are loads of people that make very good graphics on the cheap or even for free). Talk in the Collaborations section to find other people to play with, then network with them to both gain subscribers.
You can also check the Resources and Tips section to find out things that you can do better (or even start doing) to keep people entertained. I would like to stress that it's not easy to get subscribers. Some people are just more naturally talented or charismatic, so don't be disheartened if it takes a while.
