As far as YouTube is concerned, a comment of any kind, a like, a dislike, a share. It's all worth one thing, "attention". Attention, positive or negative, helps a channel grow by placing it closer and closer to the front page of search results.

Bring on your "pain", I'll bask in your assistance on my growth.

You dont know my history with networks and what i've done but trust me have a word with justjords... im sure he can give you an idea what ive done to the networks ive been a part of a channels ive dealt with.

You know why? It was a video directed at YouTubers, it's one of few videos I'll ever share on these forums or on subreddits. When they found that I don't like them spamming on my channel, it ended up with them disliking the video.

Those YouTubers don't like the fact that I don't appreciate them using my channel as an outlet for getting theirs known.

Alternatively, you can notice there is 53 views and 27 bits of community involvement (12 like/dislike or "attention", and 15 comments). That is slightly more than one "attention point" per two views.

Then we go to your channel, specifically your "Crash Bandicoot" video from 6 days ago, notice how it has a few more views than my video. Look at that, two likes and two comments. Looks like the community doesn't want much to do with your channel, despite your 225 subscribers.
