It usually takes me about 15 tries to beat them, just because I always try to beat Smough first for Ornstein's armor. It is just easier for me to take out Ornstein first then fight super Smough.

I would say about 3 times, when I entered the room the 1st I didn't know it would be a gank boss battle so died there. The 2nd time I got phase 1 but ran out or estus flask. 3rd time I pulled myself together and secure a victory.
Second go i was two busy raging about 2v1 to pay attention. The hardest boss for me was the very first one in Dark Souls
because i didn't pay attention so i had to fist its ass for 20 or so minutes. this was after dying enough times to make the ferryman quit and retire

Y'all all did better than me. the least amount of attempts it took me was 9 tries. One my channel I have 2 full videos of me dying to them but I eventually beat them within like my 8th try.
I tend to over-grind before I go fighting any bosses personally, so the difficulty isn't too bad.
Over-grinding is not bad too me. I know a lot of people complain if you're too high of a level when fighting bosses.
