Hi everyone, I've got a bit of a problem. I got an email today stating that my first channel introduction from 3 years ago was claimed by a group called "Epic Music Syndicate". The content in question is a song called "Mind Heist" by Zack Hemsey. As per YouTube's copyright database, the song is owned by London Music Works, and can be used as long as the video is not monetized.
The song is in no way affiliated with the claimant. Currently they have monetized my video. While I wouldn't mind just removing the music (the video has less than 100 views and isn't my best content anyway), I would prefer to prevent this from happening again (they have claimed the song on other channels in the past), so I would like to file a dispute.
I was wondering what the risks are of disputing the content, and if anyone could offer some advice on what to say in the dispute.
Thanks!
