It definitely needs more content. At the moment it isn't worth it's $60 price tag. There are only four maps played throughout about 6 or 7 game modes. Most of these game modes are terrible and are not combined arms though they should be. Without a friend the game feels incredibly dull with no single player or conquest mode.

The biggest issue for me is that I played both originals in the series so my expectation was shattered when I got to play this in the beta. Guess that's why they didn't call it battlefront 3.

EA + Dice should have just looked at the past 2 games and expanded on them. I tend to not myself get sucked into any hype trains because 9/10 times I'll be massively disappointed.

On a positive note graphically the game is amazing. Just wish sometimes the developers focused a bit less of how epic the graphics are and more on the gameplay. Doesn't matter how amazing your game looks if the gameplay is horrible.

This game, where do I even begin.

It's not the battlefront I grew up with. An the fact that EA had its hands on it I was worried. I knew it would become a money wanting game. Which has killed the reason to game. Why work to something when you can just throw more money at it and get it right away.

Issues:
-regenerating health and ammo: in the old games you wanted health and ammo you found a droid. Otherwise you had your pistol that was infinite but had a cool down. But better than nothing

- lack of levels: Well yeah that's kinda disappointing when your $60 game has not a lot of levels to play on but boy it sure is pretty.....

- Heroes: I honestly think player controlled heroes breaks the flow of the game especially when a really good player is good a combo kills.

- They took away the class system: there was nothing wrong with it. Battlefield has a class system. Why can't this game?

Idk this game has potential but how it released. I'm just disappointed and am glad I didn't get it upon release.

Other than that it's EA with a monopoly on the Star Wars license. Many players tossed negative feedback to EA saying "I hope this isn't going to be a Battlefield reskin". Well... what game do you think Battlefront was based off of in the first place? The game is still fun even though it isn't worth it's price. If there were player made servers people could just mod their own content or put these missing elements into the game. Since we don't even get that much it's safe to say this game will die fairly quickly.

Well EA is pretty good at killing their own games. Look at BF3 I thought that game was amazing especially since we hadn't seen a BF game really since BF 2142 (I miss that game). Then what 2 years later practically the same game of BF3 but change the number and add a couple more things and its a different game. At that time they were just introducing their 5 map pack thing. In the middle of those releases BF4 announced. Completely burned everyone who bought that map pack. Ever since I've just had very little tolerance for EA and their greed.

The only reason I can think that this game was released when it was cause the Star Wars movie and they are just riding the wake of its fame.

As much as I enjoy Battlefield and Star Wars. I really want to make sure this is the last title I'm purchasing from EA Games. Their practices are absolutely outrageous.

In my opinion it's unbalanced, and there's lack of content (that's probably going to be recouped via DLCs). But it's really fun to play, and it looks amazing.

I love the game but like everyone has been saying it needs more content plus that $60 season pass is bs. When you think about it they could of just got the first 2 battlefront games and remaster them for ps4 and xbox one and that would of been more dope than the actual game itself lol.

Definitely lack of content. I also dislike the 1st and 3rd person in the same servers. Should have separated those so that people could play how they wanted

Battlefront.... oh how the mighty have fallen.

How do I describe this?

Think of it like this. You get an adrenaline rush at the very beginning and you feel so involved, but then as the rush wears off, you realize just how shallow the game is without the star wars paint job.... Like many say, the graphics are just epic. But what makes a good game? Certainly not graphics alone.

The battles were far more satisfying in Battlefront 2. How the hell do you have star wars with no space battles? MY favorite part was fighting in A-Wings and Tie Interceptors. Yes you can fly them in Battlefront "EA" , but its just not as fun. There is no other objectives than just blasting your foe out of the sky, but in Battlefront 2, you worked as a team to destroy an enemy cruiser.

EA went total cash in mode here imo. Super lack of content, balance issues, missing so many aspects that made the original battlefronts so good, and a whole lot more hiding behind a beautiful star wars paint job.

I completely agree with every word
