Activision Blizzard has bought MLG for $46 million meaning there is no more MLG as many people knew it. MLG was founded in 2002 hosted Call of Duty and Halo before branching out to other PC titles. As it stands right now MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni has left the company and has been replaced by replaced in that role by Greg Chisholm. MLG co-founder Mike Sepso left the company at a earlier time and now works under the Activision banner. Sometimes what it looks like is exactly what it is. Activision is buying the edge on North American eSports.
