A little help with my profile pic!

Can someone help me out with this?! No matter what I do, the file size is always too big! Is it because im using photoshop? I mean i even made the picture 50x50 px and it was still over 400kb. is there something i am doing wrong?

Try using PNG.

Depends how you save it, I think when you resize it in photoshop it can try and keep all the information about the image. I don't really know all that much about photoshop though, someone else might know the exact reason...

If you want a less pixelated version this is around 100kb

PS: You can allso use Gravatar to keep allmost full quality immage showing in forums, it does a great job at scaling things
