Looks like YouTube is forcing annotations to go away. This is probably to utilize their end screen feature more. "The ability to add or edit annotations will go away on May 2nd. Existing annotations will remain." How does everyone feel about this?

The best thing to do is think about what you would search for to stumble upon a video like yours. for example, my latest video would have tags like "ADC Lulu" "Lulu ADC s7" and so on and so forth as that would be the most likely thing people would be searching for when they would stumble upon...

The let's plays seem to do ok. the problem I have with searchable content is I get top of the page for a week/month or so, and then people catch on and make videos that push mine down :/

But how do I go about getting that audience to view it? That's more or less what my question was. Like do I advertise to that audience? Or?

Just look at the overall data YT publishes ever quarter. And you can typically see 1st quarter tends to have lower views than the other quarters. This is either due to kiss being in school and less breaks/holidays, or people not watching in general

I'm just wondering what is the best way to reach a new audience? I feel like my channel has problems growing mostly due to not being known about.
