Most of the channels I'm subbed to are probably comedy or anything else that I come across that's interesting and different. I used to watch a couple of gaming channels but haven't really been watching them any more.

The dashboard is quite slow to update, long as it shows you are partnered on your Youtube features page you are all good :)

I don't think you can fix that, Youtube just auto filters some comments. If the person comments a lot and you want them to keep doing so you can add them to approved users in the settings here https://www.youtube.com/comment_management

Where is the music from? Sometimes people say on videos that the music is non copyrighted when it actually is.

Just hit 5000 subs! :D Never thought I'd ever get close to 5000 subs when I first started Youtube, or even 100 for that matter :P Just uploaded a couple of videos for a bit of fun. Hopefully I can keep growing the channel and see how far I can go.

Nice work hitting 100 subs, 2 months is pretty quick also. Think it took me quite a lot longer than that to get my first 100 subs :D

Usually it's received within 12-24 hours by support, if the ticket is about joining the network it has probably been sent to the CMS team which have been having some delays. Each channel has to be manually reviewed before it is accepted. You should get an update once you have been partnered.
