I think it's just something interesting to do, people from the other side of the world can look at something that you have created. Also there are always new things to learn :)

If you are a student you may be able to get a free student version. Otherwise there are lots of free alternatives like GIMP or paint.net

It is possible your channel has gotten botted views, these accounts like and view legitimate channels as a way of making it harder for channels paying for views to get caught. If this is the case hopefully Youtube will sort it out.

Just note that jail breaking your phone can void its warranty so make sure you know what you are doing.

I Have no idea really, hopefully will be an engineer but things always turn out differently to how you expect. Wonder if I will still be doing Youtube or if it will even still be around :D

As far as I know the catch up payments were being paid out 1 month after the regular payments and every month. May have to check with support though.

Do you know if it's your subscribers that are disliking or just random visitors? If you are getting dislikes from your current subs because you are making different content you may want to make a separate channel for that type of content. Otherwise just keep going and ignore them :P

Honestly I think 1 video a week is still fine to keep your subscribers around, sometimes it can be good to keep some time in-between videos to allow people time to watch them all. That being said don't do what I do an occasionally upload once a month or so :P

Looks great! The white almost looks a little odd but definitely makes the images stand out.

What I do is fairly specific, I only focus on one game and only one part of that game. It can be a good idea to focus on one area especially starting out, create the best videos for that thing and you are more likely to get noticed. :)

I just do videos on redstone in Minecraft :)
