Just make sure that your channel is partnered with the network first, if you have just joined it can take a few days for the channel to be reviewed.

Nice to have the choice to get paid early, especially for channels that want to use the money they have earned to invest back into the channel. I've never been that fussed to wait a month for the earnings so I'll be keeping it as it is.

Depending on the amount of views you may not have to worry too much (if it was only a few hundred or something). Also there is a possibility that someone has posted your video somewhere, maybe a large youtuber found your channel or something like that. If there are comments along with the views...

It can be quite hard as it's picked by the whole forum team so the winner might not be someone that I chose. It can be quite subjective but the best thing to do is go for something that the majority will like (and follows what is outlined).

Hope everything turns out ok, make sure that you spend time with people that need it and only focus on YouTube if you have some spare time or to take your mind of things.

Definitely as said above, quality over quantity. Create something that hasn't already been posted before
