Not sure if that GPU would work or not but a lot of the Nvidia ones do work, give it a test and see :) There are no losses except for electricity cost, although don't expect a huge amount of money either

What shows up on the screen when you try to run it? If you are using windows maybe windows defender could be blocking it, also try disabling the firewall?

Unfortunately YouTube has brought in another rule in addition to the 4k1k rule. Now networks have to be much more strict on channels in terms of copyright or any content that they do not own. If you have video content that is not 100% created by yourself or by music / sound that is copyright...

So while the anti virus is disabled it is still blocking it? Maybe there is another setting to completely disable it or a way to allow the specific program to run
