Are those earnings from December or January?

If you only just started YouTube, then yes, because Freedom! would not be able to pay you for something that didn't exist during that month. December earnings will be shown on the dashboard on January 31st, whereas January earnings will be shown on February 28th.

Freedom! is not only here to gain viewership on your channel. You still need to make your own content and use social media effectively.

YouTube would still be able to disable monetisation due to Invalid Clicks, this is because it can be used in a way to violate/abuse the system.

I would guess it would be based on your ad revenue. As Twilight said, it would be best to wait until your revenue shows on the dashboard.
