Yeah, I use an omnidirectional, but not on purpose. I found a mic I wanted at the time, didn't do any research and bought it. But hey! It's a nice mic. Good for when I do Dont Starve together with my friends who I live with.

There are two types of microphones you can buy though. The omnidirectional microphones are the ones that pick up sounds around you and whatnot.

You should buy yourself a cheap boom to attach to your desk or something. I've noticed that when I record using my stand, my voice sounds really quiet, but with a boom it sounds amazing.

Oh. Yeah, I don't know about that. I know that for an hour long video, I can render it in about half an hour if I don't do anything super fancy to it.

I have an AMD Radeon HD 250x series card. I use Adobe Premiere CC to edit and render videos and have only seen one crash and I've edited at least 20 videos since I have gotten my rig and don't really have much of a problem other than that one crash.
