I'm in the same situation as you. I'm a college students and during the semester I don't have that much time to record videos. I have a 2TB hard drive that I try to fill up during winter and summer breaks so that I have a load a videos saved up and I can upload during the semesters.

I honestly never cared about this much since I don't do YouTube for money but it's good to know. So what you are saying is that we get 60-95% of that 55% of what's left after YouTube takes its cut? I'm just trying to clarify.

I personally don't think the number of subs and/or views determines whether or not someone is a YouTuber. All that is needed is an active channel and upload videos.

I uploaded a video and 15 minutes later I get the comment you see it the title. The video had zero views so how did they know it was cool?? I called him/her out for probably being a spammer in the comments. :p

Well I've already reached 100 subs but I did a small video in Fallout 4 where I used the console to spawn 100 Deathclaws and tried to survive as long as I could. I didn't last long but I did thank my subs at the end.

The biggest advantage PC has is modding. The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games are the games I mod the most but console now have mods for Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 so they're catching up lol
