My account's over a year old yet the last 400 subsribers have come in a few days. This is not a miracle but the result of literally asking everyone I know to subscribe and asking them to share it with their friends, group chats, etc. And also looking for people offering sub for sub in YouTube...

You know how you can feature channels on your channel page? I was thinking, once you've built up a decent number of subscribers you could add a section called 'Sponsors' and sell it as AdSpace. Maybe if you were a huge YouTuber you could sell it as a weekly space or maybe you want to sell it...

Don't worry about it, YouTube searches take ages to update. Imagine the server power needed to update the view count on every search all the time. They just update it infrequently instead. Saves them a bit of a dollar.

1000 views on my vlogging channel, eyyy. The hardest one to get views for I've eventually reached 1000 (I have another 1000 on old videos but they're privated so they don't count). I'm super happy about this one. In fact just 1 video itself has 1000 views now, my donald trump diss track, it...

My planned media business, known as Citrus Media, has hit 1000 views on it's channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvSlpEi3DakU4-JEF_2BmlA). Now onwards to 100 subscribers so I can get a custom username for the channel. :)
