It's really hard to make something look better if it's already recorded in low quality! You can always mix the scale & give it some effects in Adobe After Effects to make it looks nice! Goodluck! :)

I use FRAPS a lot and the quality always comes out beautiful! :) However it will take lots of GB depending on how long you record! ;)

YES! It's a really good microphone for commentary & Gaming so yes! You should go for that one! :D I use the Blue Yeti, That one is just a LITTLE bit better but it costs a little more! But both of them are AWESOME & a LOT of popular Youtubers use them! :D
