Kids are going to be exposed to swearing and violence eventually anyways. My personal opinion, YouTube shouldn't bother trying to restrict it. However, I do think it will be good for restricting certain videos such as those portraying real life terrorism.

I somewhat had this issue. It said I had like 83 subscribers but it reduced to 77. It said on the top-right drop down menu 77 the entire time, but on the counter next to the subscribe button and on my channel page it said 83. It has since fixed itself though.

Like some of the other replies, I say to play what you enjoy. In the same sense, play what people enjoy watching. But if you force yourself to play it and don't enjoy it, I personally would avoid playing it. I've recorded an entire video before and I could tell myself I forced being entertaining...
